FREE Paint for Graffiti Removal

FREE Paint for Graffiti Removal

City of Vancouver has a program to help if your property has been vandalized with graffiti.

For graffiti management to be effective, graffiti needs to be removed quickly. The Integrated Graffiti Management Program provides free paint and creates community paint-outs to remove graffiti.

Removal Tips

  • Use the gentlest cleaning methods possible on bare surfaces such as wood, concrete, masonry, stone, retaining walls, and decorative concrete.
  • Previously painted surfaces can simply be repainted.
  • Use a protective coating. Check with your local paint store for more information.
  • Hire SOS Property Rescue to take care of this

Heritage Properties

Is your home a designated heritage site? If so, follow these tips to ensure the integrity of your building:

  • Avoid methods that erode surface material, such as sandblasting or pressure washing.
  • Previously painted surfaces can simply be repainted.
  • Protective coatings must not be used on any heritage surface.
  • If the cleaning will alter the heritage surface, you must get a development permit.
  • Hire SOS Property Rescue to take care of this

You will be given a case number and asked which Dulux Paint store location is most convenient for paint pick up.

Phone requests: call 3-1-1 to complete the voucher request.

Step 2: Go to a Dulux Paints store

Bring your personal identification and the case number.

Step 3: Provide a colour sample
